   Yes it doesn't look like much but there is a birch bowl down in
that soup. It had lots of cracks so I am soaking it in wood glue and
water for a few days to see if it will swell up and seal them. Let you
know if it works.

 The burl was courtesy of John Fisher. I used some turquoise to fill
in some spots and finished with Minwax antique oil finish. Will wait a
few days then buff. Hope you’re having fun with your projects!
