I have a Husqvarna 22", self-propelled lawn mower for sale. The mower is about 6 years old and runs very well. I have had it maintained by Ace in La Crosse. It starts well. I just used it yesterday to drain the gas and it started after about wo pulls, after being laid up all winter. It is a four cycle engine (you don't need to add oil to the gas). I have the rear bagger with it and also have the instruction book. I am selling it because it is hard on my right shoulder (I bought an battery powered mower). The price is $100. This is a nice mower for home use. Also at this price, it would be good for some enterprising youngster who wants to earn some money mowing lawns this summer. Anyway, if you are interested, call me at 608-397-9526 or e-mail me at wisawdust at charter.net. Duane -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It was such a pretty piece of wood it was worth the effort. After glue up and filling in with colored epoxy, I sanded for about 3 hours ( too unstable to turn) and it came out ok. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... The weather was right for both. I wanted to update everyone here about some ongoing things behind the scenes. Even though the current events have prevented our gatherings, your officers are still working. The first is Norskedalen; after some input from other members (Thanks John and Adrian) and a phone call to the site, I have the following. There is no physical event taking place. There is however a virtual event to be held. They would like to get videos of us turning to add to their virtual event. Still set for 22 June Field trip; We have been in contact with Tim Schneider at Three Brothers bats in West Salem, he was interested in hosting us for a demo of his facilities. He and his brothers manufacture baseball bats (currently machined though they did turn by hand). Tentatively, I was thinking for our August meeting. I do welcome any thoughts or input on this. Last is June meeting, I continue to monitor the situation with COVID 19. I would feel comfortable with us meeting again when there has been a long stretch of no new cases in the coulee region. So there will be no June meeting. In service Jim Bloomer -- James A. Bloomer -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The idea of us supplying some woodturning videos for Norskedalen is intriguing, I think we could get some footage from shops where the turner has their lathe more in the center of the shop so the videographer can stand at the end or on the other side of the lathe, or set up a camera on a tripod.? All the while using protective gear.? (Just makes me wonder, are the Trend units N95?)? I don't know what kind of a camera one would use other than a trusty smart phone nor exactly how the video is transferred from the camera card to Norskedalen other than by text, but we do have members more tech savvy than this old boy.? I would consider participating is some way if it can be done safely virus wise. And a baseball bat field trip, very interesting.
