I could also use some help loading the lathes and unloading them at A-Line afterwards.DuaneSent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

Address is 1501 Wilson St in Onalaska. We will be loading through the roll away door near the back of the school near the recycling dumpsters. Setup begins at about 1200 with the demo commencing at 1300(1 pm) We will be just demonstrating various types of turning. No hands on for the students. For my demonstrators, be sure to check tools and have different types of wood. Duane is bringing  his class lathes and we are going to be in the wood shop itself. There will be a short intro and safety briefing. I anticipate that small groups will be observing each of us as we turn. So they will have safety glasses at minimum and be no closer than 5 feet to the lathe,or,  if the demonstrator wants a bigger cushion, they can back them up further. Plan on an hour and a half of turning tops. Clean up and help Duane load back up. Hopefully if their is enough interest we will schedule a hands on demo for the advanced students. I plan to mention the club and hopefully we can attract a few to the meetings. Thank you once again in everyone's assistance in this. In ServiceJim BloomerOn Fri, Feb 28, 2020 at 12:32 PM James Bloomer <marine9096 at gmail.com> wrote:Good afternoon, Just a reminder about the demo coming up at Luther High School on Mar 11th. I am still looking for additional demonstrators. We currently have 4MyselfDuaneJay JohnsonJackWe would be meeting at the High school to setup at 1200 with the demo commencing at 1 and going to 3. As I mentioned at the meeting this would be a demo only with no hands on. It would hopefully lead to a hands on demo later. Duane has graciously allowed us to use his class lathes so would only need to bring your tools, blanks and ways to hold the works. I am also looking for various works to display as well during the demo to showcase the variety of things that can be made with the lathe. If you would like to drop off at either the board meeting this Monday or make arrangements with me to meet to retrieve them. We would be returning them at the regular club meeting-- In ServiceJames A. Bloomer
