Hello members, time to start circulating some more photos of what we have been up to besides working and trying to stay uninflected.  So please send some shots of your wood art for us to dream over.

Here is my latest piece: a little bud vase with a plastic tube made from a diseased ash limb.  It is truly sad to see those beautiful trees come down because of the beetle, but sometimes something nice comes from them.  No one has yet to find anything of value coming from the virus.

This piece is about 4.5” tall and has some wormholes and stains from the borers as well as a small knot or two.  It is finished with wipe on poly.
