The lathe has been screaming at me, "turn, turn, turn!!" so I started 
some small projects. These are percussion spoons, clickety-clackers, or 
whatever you want to call them. Mostly turned, then the slot is 
bandsawed from the tip to the pre-drilled hole.

They are generally struck between the knee and the hand. I like to play 
them to youtube music vids such as Playing For Change tunes. Video of me 
doing so can be seen at:
