I’d been wanting to make salt and pepper shakers for awhile. I bought the stoppers about 3 years ago.
The salt shaker on the left is figured ash, I believe. Or, FOG wood (Found On Ground).
The pepper shaker is mulberry. They stand 5.5 “ tall. I like course pepper so I used a 9/64 drill bit for the holes. Pepper typically calls for 1 or 3 holes. After testing the shaker, I decided on 5 holes. For the salt I used 3/32. Both work well. Another fun project!
