Friends and members of the Coulee Region Woodturners,

It is with sadness that I report the passing of a member of many years, 
Virgil Mehus on April 12, 2020.  Last night his nephew, my neighbor, 
informed me of his passing and wanted the club to know of the loss of 
one of our woodturning friends.  Services will be planned for a later 
date.  His obituary has been included with this note.  I will remember 
Virgil as a friend and always enjoyed conversations with him at 
meetings.  His obituary states he loved making bowls.  I have been 
making a natural edge maple bowl today and in my mind, will dedicate it 
to Virgil.
