[crw-talk] Folk Life La Crosse in July

Hello members,

I am looking for volunteers to organize and work the Folk Life La Crosse 
event on Saturday July 13 at the Hixon House in La Crosse. What 
organizing it includes is getting some members to be there to 
demonstrate woodturning, sell items (sales go through the club , of 
course, with the club keeping 25%) and discuss/teach our craft.  We will 
need members to move club lathes to and from the clubhouse.  I am not 
interested in volunteering to organize it an I am organizing the two 
Norskedalen ones in June and again in early July.

We need someone to organize as I have mentioned, plus workers so please 
email me if you can step up.  And once we have a fearless leader 
volunteering, he or she can do the rest of the legwork in getting it off 
the ground and wrapped up.  Thanks for reading my missive and 
considering volunteering.  Oh, by the way, running a CRW event is far 
easier than herding cats, because we have a deep base of members who 
make the club what it is and step up to the plate when needed.
