This is the end of our fiscal year and we will be setting budgets for next year at this meeting. I have asked Phil to prepare a statement of our activity through August 31, 2018. September and October programs are pretty well set. We will have some discussion on the November Round Robin and December Christmas Party. Election of officers is at the October meeting to take office January 1. Everyone is invited. We meet at A-line starting at 6PM and are done by 7:30 or so. So if you are not at the board meeting this Tuesday (September 4 please come to Duane?s and talk turning, or wood or change of seasons, etc. You can also bring your turning problems or thoughts or just hang out with your fellow turners. This has been poorly attended. If we want to benefit in the future we need to use it in the present. I have attended several times and have not always brought a problem (some say I am a problem) just to talk and see Duane?s stuff. He has a new lathe. Adrian I am thinking of bringing two pieces of wood on the 11th to cut up into bowl blanks. One is a half log of Butternut and the other is a Cherry Burl.
