That was a great group and I really enjoyed the kids and parents. They were very appreciative and let us know it!
John, thanks for arranging the program. It was no small feat. All the presenters were at their best.

We had 10 members participate: Adrian Novak, Marv Meyer, Clyde Cassell, Jack Fitzpatrick, Bob Raasch, Bob Patros, John Phillips, Joe Lehn, Duane Hill and myself. Thanks to every one of you who helped! Every child got at least one turn at a lathe and made a variety of projects ranging from wonderful Slimline pens to tops and varied items in between. Many beautiful and useful items went home with their proud maker.

Duane's lathes and sharpening equipment made it a turning event and not just a dry lecture. Thanks to Joe and Mary Lehn for coordinating this on the home school side and to Joe for the photographs he took of the event. Some of the photos will appear in the club newsletter.
