[crw-talk] Vietnam War Memorial fundraiser-donated wood turnings requested

Dear all,

I have been in touch with Sheryl Pederson , from Holmen , who is spearheading a fundraiser for a Vietnam War Memorial. You can read about it in the LaCrosse tribune from today (6/9/18)or online.

 Would you be interested in donating any turned items for their silent auction? It is to be held during their fundraiser  event at the Holmen American Legion on Saturday, July 28 from 11 am to 4 pm. If so, I would appreciate it if you could drop off your turnings at my home. My address is 3480 Greenbriar Ct., LaCrosse. Phone number is 608-615-0226. If you can’t come to me, I will come to you. Just let me know. 

I will collect the pieces and would need to get them to Cheryl by July 24. I plan to turn bowls for the event.

Please include your name, type of wood. And, sign your piece.

This effort will be much appreciated. A memorial to the Vietnam Vets is long overdue.
