Are you a Segmenter who wants to learn new techniques? Maybe you are you new to segmenting and interested in learning the basics from some of the best? Do you want to see one of the largest and most amazing Instant Galleries of segmented work ever assembled? How about meeting 100's of friendly segmenters from around the U.S. and beyond while visiting a nice Midwest City with much to see and do. The Segmented Woodturning Symposium in St. Louis this fall is where it's all happening. The Segmented Woodturners, an international on-line chapter of the AAW is hosting its 6th Biennial Segmenting Symposium. Registration is now open for this 3 day event which is being held at the Marriott West Hotel in the Western Suburbs of St. Louis. 
 
The symposium includes an incredible slate of demonstrators doing over 45 demonstrations during the 10 rotations. You will see topics for all experience levels and interests and many will be new and never seen before. This year's planned demonstrators include:
 
Featured Demonstrators
Robin Costelle, Mark Hosulak, Lloyd Johnson, Tom Lohman, Al Miotke, Curt Theobald, Malcolm Tibbetts.
 
Other Talented Demonstrators
Bob Behnke, Martha Collins, Jim Driskel, Pete Marken, Jim Rodgers.
 
In addition to this exciting group of demonstrators, the event includes a tradeshow, instant gallery, Saturday banquet with a Lifetime Achievement award, gallery critique, optional turning exchange, raffle, and an opportunity to rub shoulders with the best in our craft!
Special Raffle: Register by March 31, 2018 and your name will be entered into a raffle of products worth $300.
