A good month ago, we had a nice wind storm come through and I lost many
trees, I still have some lodged up in trees and waiting for a few to maybe
fall down with another wind storm, I have called a few tree trimmers with
booms and had only one show up so far, but I have at least two to three
truckloads of wood cut up, stacked right now, most are cut around 12 to 14
inches in length. Many thicknesses and also some which may have to be split,
but movable.
I also have at least four to six other trees which need to be cut down, most
are going to fall into an area which is safe, but a few around power lines
and one huge box elder which fell into a group of 3 other trees, (which I
plan on having a tree trimmer take his Insurance policy out on)
Most are Box Elder, a few Pines, some Walnut, some locust and a huge Maple
which will need to come down by the tree trimmer. The Maple is probably five
to six ft around and many branches.
When these other trees go down, anyone who needs wood for burning or turning
is more than welcomed to take these. I will cut the brush off and take it
away from the tree and you can take what you want, I can help you cut these
up with my chainsaw, but you are more than welcome to bring your chain saw
and Truck and trailers or a Donkey, Mule and a wooden cart along.
You can call me/email me about anytime, to come and take a look at things or
let me know if you want to take any of wood. If there are a couple of you
who need wood to burn for heat, I just ask if you could share a little with
anyone else out there also..
I will be gone most of this week and part of next to Charlotte, Charleston
and Fayetteville areas, (If we can fly in yet) So it may be a few weeks to
look at things.
My Cell is 608-397-9448
My Address is North 4311 county road M
West Salem
I am on the corner of Highway M (towards Barre Mills from West Salem) and
Highway B towards Maple Grove Golf Course (Or what used to be the Golf
Course)
Thanks, I have enough wood to turn a lifetime and I do not burn it, so I
would like to see someone take it.

Subject: [Crw-talk] Wood for sale (again)
I will be at the meeting next Saturday for the Cindy Drozda all day demo,
and will have a truck load of wood along for sale to anyone who is
interested. I will have some (green) Black Locust; freshly cut, green Black
Cherry (no burls), and maybe some other species as well depending on what I
find too much of in my shop. The Locust and Cherry will be Anchor Sealed,
primarily half-log pieces, but also some short log sections less than 10"
diameter.
Call me or email if you have any questions or requests.
