The newsletter is pretty thin this month, as there was no instant
gallery at the last meeting.
Upcoming meeting is at the Stevenson museum, always worth a trip. Just
down the road from me, I always plan to make that. But sadly I can't
this year, will be house-sitting for a friend north of the Twin Cities
from tomorrow until the 23rd or there-abouts.
He has a big circa 1920 Oliver patternmaker's lathe, 24" swing and 8 ft.
between centers for me to play with. Plus a garage full of other
industrial woodworking machinery.
I guess I shouldn't be too sad, but I always look forward to what John
Frawley has to offer, and the excellent food served by Steve and Carol.
I'm setting my sights on the Heritage Farm event on July 8, plus the
meeting at Shorty's in August if that is still happening.
