The planning committee is hard at work to finalize preparations for our 5th Turn-On! Chicago symposium being held from July 22-24. If you have not yet registered, I am hoping you will join us this summer on the scenic wooded grounds at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois.  It should be our best one so far.

We have 13 world class demonstrators doing 55 rotations for turners with varying interests and experience levels. They include: Nick Agar, Rex Burningham, Robin Costelle, Clay Foster, Stephen Hatcher, Frank Kobilsek, Rob Nelson, Graeme Priddle, Mark Sfirri, Mark St. Leger, Rob Wallace, Vince Welch, and Molly Winton.  We will also have activities on Friday evening so there will never be a dull moment. In recent weeks we have added a preliminary rotation schedule, World of Woodturners (WOW) meeting, Women in Turning (WIT) meeting, and an Empty Bowls event.

Just added: For those that can't be with us the entire weekend, we have added single day registration options.

All registration is completed from the website. There is limited housing available on-site as well as excellent hotels close to the conference facility which are listed on the website. The registration fee includes 8 meals including the Saturday evening banquet and auction, tradeshow, instant gallery, free soft drinks and snacks, Friday evening activities, and most important, excellent conversation with fellow woodturners.
