At our March meeting, someone mentioned using poly as a finish.  One of the members said something like, “put a coat of _____poly on before you use the ____.”  I believe it was the Satin on for the second coat.  Does anyone remember that and if you do, would one of you please fill in the blanks.  I am making a dining room table out of black walnut and I am quite a ways away from finishing it, I am still sanding and making the legs, but eventually, I will be using poly on it to finish it and that formula would be very useful.
