Phil. Here is the information. I am asking $800 for the lot. I think the stuff is worth a lot more, but $1,000 would scare a lot of people away. Anyone interested in this can call me at 507-457-1552<tel:507-457-1552> . I have logs to saw, and using the Ripsaw is more complicated than just throwing a switch.
RIPSAW
Portable band saw cuts to 14”, and weighs about 50 pounds. An 18” log would come down to 14” when the 4 slabs are taken off. Manual included.
Stihl chain saw engine (380) power source. 24” bar included. With manual.
Two 5’ guide bars put together for an 8’ log.
Three new blades.
Alaska sawmill frame will take a bar up to 36”. This is for starting a really big log.
Cant hook for logs 12” to 20”. (My design)
Debarking spud with sliding hammer. Cutting into the bark dulls the blades pronto.
Elevated rack for sawing, with ramps.
Small gas generator with a battery charger outlet. (The operation benefits greatly from having a winch, but the one I use belongs to St. Mary’s University, so is not part of the deal. Harbor Freight has good deals.)
Logging chains.
Two snatch blocks.
High lift jack.
File-N-Joint kit for sharpening chain saw blades.
Framing square, small hatchet, 2# steel mallet.
20” – 24” walnut log.
Solar drying shed, with a heat sink of limestone slabs. Blowers. Solar panel is 8’x16’. This shed is up against my shop, so you would have only 3 walls. Door is 4’ wide.
