The next Beginning Woodturning class will start Thursday, July 10 and 
will run for 8 weeks.  See the add below for details.  If you would like

Woodturning - Beginning

So you have bought a lathe and tools, but you don't know what do with 
them.  Or you would just like to learn to turn wood, then this class is 
for you.  “Beginning Woodturning” will teach you how to use and sharpen 
your tools; which tools to use where; and how to create beautiful and 
fun items at the lathe.  Students are required to bring a face shield 
and are encouraged to bring their own turning tools (if they have them). 
There will be a limited supply of lathes and tools available.  Class 
size is limited to 5.  This class will be a combination of lecture and 
hands on.  Students will have hands on training on the major categories 
of lathe tools.  Amongst the projects that will be completed during the 
class are: a shop mallet, garden dibbler, a weedpot, a bowl, and a 
turned box.

The next class start on Thursday, July 10 and will run through August 
28.  Class times are from 6-9 PM.  Classes will be held at A-Line 
Machine Tool at 810 Monitor St in La Crosse.  Cost for the class is
