You can check used prices on both Amazon and E-Bay, depending on what is involved.  From E-bay you can see what people are asking and get a price point by looking at what has bids against it.

PS  If there are books, I am interested!

Subject: [Crw-talk] Pricing for used tools

Hello turners,
A question- my uncle died a few years back, and my aunt is looking to sell his tools.   Possibly some carving tools, a bench model drill press not sure brand, (maybe Rockwell or Delta), a chop saw?  Lots of hand tools, screw drivers, wrenches, pliers and the like, battery electric drills, etc.  I believe she just wants a fair price if possible.    Does anyone here  know of a pricing guide for used stuff or some general guidelines? She lives in Beloit, so I'm making a trip down tomorrow.

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Hope to see you on  Saturday.
