Is there some way you, or one of your wood lathe colleagues could do 
some "emergency" lathe work for me?  I am headed out on a trip to the 
east, and need some baton handles made.  I thought I would have my Jet 
lathe by now, but it is not in yet.

The baton handles are fairly simple.  They would be 2 or three inches 
long, 3/4 inch in diameter, probably 2 or three of them, shaped like a 
tear drop or pear.  I would provide photographs of them.  I would 
provide the stems.  NATURALLY, I would be glad to pay for them!  I would 
provide the wood too.  Problem is, I would need them by the close of 
business Wednesday!

If there is any way you or someone else could do them, please let me
