Thank you, I use E-Bay frequently, but never thought of using it for a clarinet bell.

Clarinet bells are available for as little as $10 on eBay.

I have three questions, issues.
#1. I am looking for logs, limbs that might be simply discarded, at least 40” long, and 2-8” across. Hardwood, no evergreen. If you are cutting down a tree or know of recently cut trees, I would appreciate learning about it.
#2. At our last meeting either are speaker, or one of you, said if you mix iron (steel???) shavings with vinegar and use this to turn wood black. Would any iron filings work, or must it be steel? What ratio do you use, is the solution watery, or more paste like?
#3. A friend of mine has a clarinet she wants to restore. The bell is severely cracked. She was wondering what it would cost to have a new bell turned? I am getting the old bell from her for dimensions. I would assume one would make a hollow vase like vessel and cut the end off, but this is way above my paygrade.
Thanks,
Jim Stromberg
