Turners,
I have relieved great comments every week from young turners who have had older turners share their turning knowledge and methods. This is what I like most about our club members. To continue this mind set, I would like to add information about your current or past vocation. We now have more than 100 members who have varying work carriers. At one time or another we all have a question about how to do a particular job at home. You could have a question about Plumbing, Sheet Metal, Heating, Cooling, how to set up a small business, How to make a web site and many many more.

I would like all Turning Members to send me information about your past or present work vocation. I will make a spread sheet that will be available to all members for their use. My address is: JHFBEAR at CHARTER.NET

Also, Another Subject:
We need a list of members that have had emergency training. With 100 members we can expect an emergency situation to happen. I would like to put your name on a Fast Responders list so the officers can call on one of you or all of you to help before the Local EMT Service arrives. Send me your information and I will make the list available for the board to see. I can also add the list of names to a placard on our Lathes for anyone to see and be able to call on any of the names. I will provide a sample information paragraph about my past training.
