Thank you for the information.  I am aware of the product line and have their web site bookmarked.  They have great products and appear to be precision machined.  The pump they use is a diaphragm.  I have tested several diaphragm pumps and they just don’t achieve the vacuum that my used medical composite pumps put out and both have similar flow rates.

I guess those that have a unlimited budget go for the gusto!  I have geared my ‘FrugalVacuumChuck’ kit to be more affordable for those of us that are on a budget.

I have had several people ask me about the vacuum adapter that was on the Delta midi lathe at our meeting this last Saturday.  The adapter is made by JT Tools (http://jtturningtools.com).  They make adapters for several lathes, including the Delta midi, Jet mini and others.  I have this adapter on my Delta midi (the one at the meeting) and a Jet mini.
