This is the tree.  I too grabbed a few smaller pieces.  Still lots left,

I was there this morning and brought home a few chunks. Still lots left.
Larry is right, this was quite a large tree, and the trunk sections are
substantial. Bring a chainsaw, and you can cut it right there at the curb
and load it up. Looks like nice material.

My neighbor had a large butternut tree cut down today and the wood is
available, first come, first serve. It's on the corner of 23rd and State
Street in La Crosse. It was quite a large tree.
