[Crw-talk] update: 1 more need - Norskedalen Threshing Bee-Sept 21 10am-4 pm Turning and Selling

Hi All,

We still need 1 person to help out John Phillips with Shift 1.


The Threshing Bee is upon us once again.  However this year on the same day
as our club meeting.  Our own Duane Hill will be demonstrating Christmas
ornaments in the club room. 

As mentioned at Saturdays meeting, the club would like to have some
representation, with 1 lathe and some  turners. This is another opportunity
to share the love of turning wood with the public and sell some of your art.
If you are NOT planning on attending the Sept 21 club meeting at Onalaska,
please consider going to Norskedalen and being a busy Bee.! (oh well, I
tried).
If you have items to be sold, please make arrangements to get those items to
John Phillips. Remember, the club gets 25%, so price accordingly.

We would like to have 2 shifts of 2 people each.    We have 1 mini lathe.
You will need to bring your own wood and sharp tools as usual.  Of course,
if desired, 2 people could do the whole day.  I understand the threshing
dinner ($12) is outstanding. Meal reservations due by Friday, September 13.
