[Crw-talk] Saturday's club meeting - board elections and such

Hi Everyone,

Fall is definitely in the air, turning is in high gear? Well, obviously I'm
not talking about myself!

Just a reminder about this Saturday's meeting.   This is an important
meeting to vote for the election of officers for 2014.   The slate was
listed in this month's newsletter.  Of course, write-ins volunteers are
welcomed and encouraged. 

The Viroqua Assisted Living turning activity on October 12 was a success.  I
believe Clyde Cassell, Jack Fitz, Roger Peterson and John Phillips were the
honored guests turners who wowed the crowd.  Looking forward to hearing the
details.  

 

Our turner demonstrator is Steve Sinner from Bettendorf, Iowa, who will be
demonstrating  hollow forms on the club's Powermatic.  As there will be an
afternoon session also, please bring a lunch.  We'll take about  1/2 hour
lunch break. The afternoon session be an opportunity to get some hands on
experience with Steve. He has a new center steady for mini lathes he would
like to share.  This will be another exciting club meeting.  Please read the
promotion of Steve's demo and work in this month's news letter.
