Dear Friends,

Since I won't be at the meeting on Saturday, I thought I would pass this on via E-mail.  My turning experience is limited as my time is limited, so a smock was not all that important, I took an old shirt and ripped the pocket out so chips would not gather in the pocket.  

This morning I was at Menard's and they are running a special on a "wind shirt item 6609908 priced at $ 8.88.  It is a pull over and micro fiber.  The outside finish will resist chips from sticking.  The neck is a little larger than optimum, but nothing is perfect.

I thought this would be a good thing to buy as I will be retiring in early June and plan on actually turning my lathe on and using it.
