I have some turning tools available for sale, I'll bring to this next
meeting at Steve & Carol's.
1.) Henry Taylor HSS long & strong spindle gouge, 1/2" wide flute -
shaft is actually 9/16" OD machined from M2 HSS. Good production tool.
Purchased new in about 2005 from Craft Supplies. This tool is 2" longer
on the flute and the shaft length than the model currently available, here:
http://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/p/7/2/31/130/-/3481/Henry-Taylor-M2-HSS-Spindle-Gouge
Asking $35 OBO.
2.) My original chattertool, as seen on my How-to page I put up in 2002
here:
http://www.crwoodturner.com/chatterwork/index.html
this is the exact same tool pictured in the how-to, still in good
shape. I rarely use it but I can always make another one if needed!
Asking $15 OBO.
3.) Hard Maple setscrew handle for 1/2" tool shafts, hollow handle will
take a pound of lead BB shot (not included, sorry I'm out). Grooved
handle is a beefy 2" OD for a solid grip. I made this a couple years ago
to order for someone who changed their mind. Steel ferrule is epoxied
into handle. Asking $25 OBO.
4.) Johnston/Basham hollowing tool of my design and construction. This
is an intermediate hollowing tool for small hollow vessels less than 8"
depth. This style has an outboard stabilizer bar that is not captured
like the Jamieson tool for example. You only need a standard tool rest
that should be at least 8" long. The stabilizer bar has a sliding rod
with a flexible plastic finger to act as a thickness guage, a cheap and
easy alternative to the laser guide. Credit cards make great fingers,
this one comes with a piece of my old Paypal debit card. Don't get yer
hopes up, it's totally invalid!
I would like $20 OBO. This is a perfect match for the setscrew handle,
by the way.
You can see pics of everything in my Gallery album, at:

By the way, if you would like your own album in the CRW Gallery, just
give me a holler and I'll set it up. You can upload your own pics of
woodturnings, tools, anything club related or woodturning related.
Thanks,
Ken Grunke
