Just FYI,

I just got done talking with the La Crosse Cty Tree Cutters.  The La Crosse Cty Wood Drop Lot has been closed for wood cutting.  They are no longer putting wood at the lot, they are stock piling in other areas and processing what they can for a sawmill.  If there's wood there from other sources-people dropping it off-there is no cutting or transportation allowed and they'll work to get it moved when they're able to.  They are closing it for a couple of reasons.  First off, liability.  Nothing has happened but they're being pro-active in making sure that stays that way.  Secondly, they are having people cut logs and transport them to La Crescent and other out of state locations and it's aiding in the spreading of insects (Emerald Ash Borer) and disease.

That resource has ended.
