[Crw-talk] CRW: June's turning meeting

Hello members,

Rob Nelson, our featured presenter this Saturday will be demonstrating "
Finials-designing,  proportions and turning technique"  As Rob has agreed to
do an afternoon hands  session,  we will have at least 3 lathes available
(the club's Powermatic and 2-3 Jet minis) for this. If you want some
individualized guidance, maybe on multi axis turning (recall he did this
last summer) or other work,  please bring wood blanks, spindle work etc., to
work with. Also, sharp tools. Do not bring any Black Walnut (Rob Nelson is
highly allergic to that species).  Lathe chucks will be available. 

The afternoon session will be after the lunch honoring Ed Holz's 90th
birthday.  Lunch is provided by Ed, his wife and their son.
