Duane,
I would be in for 50 board feet, also. If you need help picking it up, please let me know.

Subject: [Crw-talk] "Roasted" Poplar
I was just talking with the folks at McDonald Owen Hardwoods and they have some 8/4 "roasted" poplar. Apparently it looks like walnut. They have a pallet they are looking to get rid of. The pallet is 300 board feet, 5 inches to 12 inches wide. I was thinking of getting some of this for blanks for the class. They said, if I get the whole pallet, the cost would be $0.75 per board ft (compared to $2.50 per board foot normally). This is a lot more than I need. Anyone interested in splitting the pallet? Let me know. I might be able to get it by the meeting, but it depends on how many answer. Thanks.
Duane
