I wish to echo Bob's comments. Although I did take advantages of some of those OSN's, I did not take notes, and my skill level show's it! This is indeed a rich resource for the Coulee Region, it's too bad Western is choosing a different direction. One thing that is constant, is change. Thanks Duane, you have brought joy to many people over the years through the turning classes.

Duane,
I'm sorry to hear the classes won't be offered in the future. You did a great job teaching new and experienced turners, which reflects how much CRW has grown over the years. For me, it all began when you invited us over for Open Shop Night. Those were fun and learning times, and I have the notes to prove it!

For those of you interested in taking the wooding turning classes at WTC, here's your chance. There is a new Beginning class starting September 4 and running thru October 9. The class will meet on Wednesdays, from 6-9 PM. Cost is $90.40 Currently, there are 8 people enrolled in this class, with a limit of 10. There is another Beginning Woodturning class scheduled for November 6 thru December 18. Again meeting on Wednesdays from 6-9 PM. There are two students signed up for this one.

There is also an Intermediate Woodturning class scheduled for October 4 thru November 8. This class will meet on Fridays from 6-9 PM. Cost is the same Currently, there is no one signed up for the class.

This will be your last chance to take these classes at WTC. After the fall term, WTC is doing away with the Life Long Learning program as it currently stands. From the sounds of it, the special interest classes like woodturning will not be offered.

Any questions, drop me an e-mail or give me a call at 608-783-0883.

Duane
