[Crw-talk] 8-10-13 CRW Update. Still some needs for Great River Folk Festival-request for turners/managing the booth: Saturday and Sunday, August 24-25

8-10-13 Update: Do to unforeseen circumstances, we need a few more
turners/booth managers.  

Request for Saturday, 1 person from the  10:00am - 2:00 pm. 

Requests for Sunday:

.       2 people for setup from 8:30am - 10:00 am,

.       1 person for 10am-2pm,

.       1 person for 2pm-4pm and tear down.  Need another car/truck to help
take stuff back to Community Center.

 

Of course, any and all are also welcome to participate on both days!

If you have items to sell, mark the price them (club gets 25%) and bring
them to the event or contact one of the following members: Duane Hill, Bob
Raasch, Clyde Cassell or John Phillips to make arrangements for getting them
to the fest. While we will make every effort to protect your items, the CRW
club or its members assume no responsibility for damage to products.

We will have the two club mini lathes, 2 safety shields, power cords, club's
canopy, some display stands, club's sign, some plastic bags for purchases,
cash box and change and couple of small folding tables. 

Bring your own wood to turn, sharp tools and a chuck (1"- 8tpi) if possible,
and safety gear. Also, comfortable chairs and food and water as desired. I
believe food is also sold at the event.

Fest opens at 10 am each day. Demonstrations close at 5pm on Saturday and 4
pm on Sunday.

Members, please see the schedule opportunities below and let me know the
times you desire to participate.
