Hi everyone,

Another exciting Saturday coming up. 

 

Featured demonstrator is our own, Duane Hill,  showing dyeing and color. Be
sure to print out Duane's  demonstrator notes  as desired from the web site

Lyndal Anthony will also do a short demo on his "tenon tool adaptor.

 

The 2X4 challenge is another highlight, as we are all looking forward to
seeing the creativity within the group.  1st, 2nd and 3rd place gift
certificates will be awarded to the winners. Voting via ballots during the
morning break will done to pick the winners.

 

I have some butternut  sections, sealed with Anchor Seal to sell, with
proceeds going to the club treasury.  Several of these are very generous in
size as mentioned previously. Check out the picture in this month's
newsletter.

 

We will also be collecting for the May CRW meeting at the Stevenson's,
Richland Center. $10 is due at this Saturday's  from each person planning to
attend. Again, we need to collect at this time, to plan for food and
refreshments, etc. Steve and Carol's Town of Stevenson's fantastic  museum
and associated facility, wonderful food, and good fellowship is something
you won't want to miss.

 

We'll also have continuing discussion about July's meeting, at this point,
planned for tool making or demonstrations on specific tool making. 

 

I'm looking forward to see all of you and enjoying the coffee and donuts and
such :-)      Think spring.


Finally, our thoughts and prayers go out to our neighbors in Boston, MA and
West, Texas as those struggles in particular continue.
