Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Well, I survived my first meeting as treasurer, we will see just how
well when I find out if the actual money I took in matches what I had
written down.  Thanks for your cooperation in making my job pretty easy
today.  Clyde's sense of humor is priceless, wouldn't you agree?  He
could do stand up comedy, although I would not recommend he smoke fat
cigars and drink Scotch whiskey during his act.

On behalf of the board I want  to thank everyone who previously received
mailed copies of the newsletter and converted to email delivery today.
The cost savings will help us keep dues low.

We had 17 members renew as of today.  39 had renewed previously.  That
gives us a total of 56 paid members, there are 93 members on the roster
from 2011 so I need to hear from 37 more members ASAP.  Now I do believe
nearly everyone will re-up sooner or later, but there is one factor that
makes it important to re-up right now: I have to make an insurance
payment for our liability insurance soon, and need the most accurate
count possible because our premium is based on our membership.

I'm around most of the time since I am retired, and it has been too cold
and the ice fishing too unproductive up here to motivate me to go out on
the ice much, therefore I am usually pretty easy to reach-there is a
dust covered phone just a few steps from my lathe.
