Hello All,,
My Son has been living in St Paul now for two years while he is studying for
his Masters degree and he actually lives within walking distance from the
Center. If he walks out of his house and looks to the left he sees the
Capital and if he looks to the right he sees the big Cathedral ( even if you
are not religious, it is open to the public and it is a must see while you
are there.) . As far as Restaurants downtown, there really are none, not
unless you want to take out a loan and pay for the meal at the hotel. You
may need to plan on driving a couple of miles to find some restaurants to
eat at. Just thought I would give you a little heads up. Also use the River
Center parking (underground) I believe this is only $10.00.
See you up there
Jim cox

Hi All,
Are we all getting excited about the symposium? I know that I am. I was told
by Duane Hill that if you don't attend the training sessions but only go to
the trade show and the instant gallery there is no charge for admittance.
This is good news. This may mean that more of you can go for a day and savor
the show at a low budget. I know I am. If any of you want to get up early (4
AM) and ride with me for a long day at the symposium let me know.
Also, Dan Wilson brought up a great suggestion, The suggestion was to have
every one going to the symposium and staying over night send me the hotel
name and the telephone number of that hotel or your cell number so you who
are staying can contact each other during the week end. Maybe you will want
to meet for supper or a drink after hours. If you like this idea send me the
information and I will send each of you a list for your use.
Thank you all
Jim Frank
