[Crw-talk] Russ Fairfield

I was just browing on WoodCentral and noticed that Russ Fairfield had 
passed away on January 4.  We had Russ at CRW for a weekend demo a 
couple of years ago.  Russ gave a very informative demo on applying 
finishes and different segmenting techniques.  He has been very active 
on WoodCentral for many years.  It is sad to be notified of his passing. 
I know there were some in the club who had gotten to know him and his 
wife very well.  The turning community, at large, has lost a great 
asset.  Go to WoodCentral (www.woodcentral.com, turning messageboard) 
and see the idea for paying forward.  this truly ws Russ' legacy and one 
we should all aspire to.
