[Crw-talk] Tree Cookies

I have a request from Sarah Fellicelli (the lady who did the 
presentations on identifying wood).  They are looking for "tree cookies" 
for to help kids identify trees in the eco-park.  The cookies should be 
3-5" thick and 6-18" in diameter.  Leave the bark on.  Here are the 
species they are looking for:

Green ash
White oak
Red oak
Burr oak
Shagbark hickory
Sugar maple
Silver maple
Cottonwood
Red pine
Blue spruce
Norway spruce
River birch
Paper birch
Box elder
Black walnut

If you have any of these, bring them to the February meeting and mark 
what they are.  I will get them to Sarah.  Thanks.
