We have an opportunity for the November meeting.  Right now, we have an
opening for the November meeting, since Dennis Snider left the area.  Alan
Carter is available on November 20 (our meeting date) and the center is
available all day.  The officers are looking into bringing Alan in for a
full day demo, paid for by the club.  Non-memebers amy attend, but there
would be a charge.  Alan just recently demonstrated at the Chicago
Symposium.  Alan does a lot with thin walled goblets and embellishment of

I have two questions.  First is there interest from the club to bring him
in?  Second, is there enough interest (6-10 people) for doing a hands on
concerning his goblets and piercing for having him stay over for a second
day for the hands on?  Please let me know by phone (608-783-0883) or e-mail
