I got a call last from a gentleman on French Island.  He has a good size cedar tree he is going to be cutting down.  He hates to see anything go to waste.  Apparently, he had been talking with Jim Cox and Jim mentioned the club might be interested in some of the wood.  Anyway, this tree has 7-8 straight limbs from 18" diameter down.  If peopel are interested, we could go over next Saturday morning and cut up the downed tree.  I woul be willing to lead the group but don't have a pickup.  Let me know if a). you are interested in the wood b). you would be willing to help cut up the tree and c). you have a pickup to help haul.  I will let everyone know if this is a go.  We haven't had one of these wood hunts for a couple of years.  It usually is a lot of fun,
