[Crw-talk] May Hands-on Meeting

At the May meeting, we will be having a Hands-On session.  We will have 4 stations, each with a mentor.  The 4 stations are:
Skew - Greg Haugen
Bowls - Dennis Snider
Sharpening - John Fisher
Hollowing - Duane Hill

You need to bring a face shield or safety glasses.  No one will be allowed to operate a lathe or grinder without safety glasses or face shield.  We will have some extras available.  In fact, if you have extras, bring them.

The hollowing station will focus on using the Johnston/Basham tool (what Jim Frank was selling at the last meeting) and the Mike Jackofsky tools; plus general hollowing.

If you want to bring tools to sharpen, we ask that you bring no more than two tools.  This way more people can work on their tools.  If you have a troublesome skew and/or hollowing tool, bring them along and we will see if we can help you make it perform better.
