Just got this from the President of Chippewa Valley Woodturners Guild.
I have to pass on a petition to the AAW, not being a current member.

Ken,

This is a copy of a letter that I sent to members that commented on
the AAW forum:

You are being contacted because you responded to the thread on the AAW
website about Mary Lacer. You are one of 35 people I am contacting
from that thread.

All the discussion and speculation going on about the recent BOD
action raises the question if we invoke a 5% membership petition to
bring out the answers.

Someone has to be willing to step up to the plate and start the ball
rolling to see if there is interest.

I am willing to start pushing for such an action.

If you have interest in being part of a group that is willing to sign
a petition, whatever the makeup will be, I am willing to help move in
that direction. If someone else wants to do it, fine with me but,
let's start.

I have NO INTEREST in being on the BOD but, do have interest in
keeping AAW moving forward.

If there was malfeasance, so be it. The board acted correctly. If not,
then the BOD is suspect.

To me, it is clearly a real set up and people were blind sided in a
very underhanded fashion. I do not want to think that AAW is like
that.

Who instigated this and for what reason(s)?

Once again, If you have interest in being part of a group that is
willing to sign a petition, whatever the makeup will be, then let me
know by sending a new email with "Include Me in the 5%."

He who hesitates loses!

If It Is To Be It Is Up To Me!

It only takes 700 signatures to make this happen

Let's Just Do It!
