Hi everyone, I'm clearing out some tools I rarely use. Will be putting
this on the national forums but want to give my club members a chance
first.
I have a sturdy, well made Jamieson-style hollowing bar and capture
rest I fabricated back in the late 90's, made to fit a 12" lathe but
easily modified for down to a 10" swing on up to any size larger.
The system includes the handle made from 3/4" cold rolled steel shaft,
with a double-setscrew socket to take 3/4" diameter tool shanks.
Icluded is one 3/4" x 12" long tool shaft with a slotted end, holding
a HSS planer blade cutter with a setscrew. I could make a 1" x 18"
long tool shank for an additional $40 if desired.
Also included is a pivoting banjo made from hard maple, holding a
capture rail with a 20" wide slot for the handle. The capture rail is
fabricated of hard maple kiln-dried lumber and has a 1" steel
toolpost.
Asking $75 for the system, OBO.

More goodies coming later in the week.
