[Crw-talk] 2010 CRW Officer Positions

At the December meeting we will be voting on the 2010 CRW officer
positions.  We have an opening to fill at the Treasurer position and
have had one person say that they would be interested in it.  If there
are others that are interested in it, they're more than welcome to run
as well.  However, we haven't had anyone step forward and say they're
would be interested in being President.  This doesn't seem to be a new
situation.  Since the beginning of the club we've only had 3 different
members serve as President.  The term "President" seems to intimidate
some.  The myth of it being a  "one person" show is far from the
truth.  The officers are a group, all working together for the best
interests of the club.  One of the only areas that seperate the
position from the others is that the President "leads" (not
demonstrates-but leads) 6 meetings during the year.  It's not what it's
often made out to be.

I'm asking each one of you if you'd be
willing to serve the club, we've all enjoyed, as its President?  Or if
you would have any recommendations of those that you feel would be a
good option to be President?

Time is no longer on our side, and
it's running out on this year.  We need your help to fill this position
so our club can continue on and grow in the future.
